Clarify yourself?

Do you clarify urself when ur being misunderstood?

I usually dont (unless its a huge issue) clarify if its elders who misunderstood me…more like i dont want them to be put in an embarassing situation:bummer:
but this at times backfires:hinna:

Re: Clarify yourself?

if tehre is a need...YES!

Re: Clarify yourself?

Not really , I do not care unless it might hurt them physically if I do not clarify myself.

If someone is being arrogant I would let them be,

Re: Clarify yourself?

And that.

Re: Clarify yourself?

doesnt it backfire at times?
like the thing is mentioned months later..and at tht time u cant even clarify?

Re: Clarify yourself?

'who you talking to , clarify please.

Re: Clarify yourself?

:bummer: like anyone..mostly elders…

Re: Clarify yourself?

i dont think it matters after a certain age. when you have grown up, and you know you have, you simply stick to what you are and what you do. let people be struggling to figure it all out. why should you be bothered.

Re: Clarify yourself?

I do- esp. when my parents, or close friends ask me to or anyone that I care about. I usually don't clarify stuff unless I have to in work situations. But yeah, if its something that you think might come back to haunt you in the future, it's better to just work it out now then trying to come up with explanations later.

Re: Clarify yourself?

Ohhh it happens all the time with me... some times i clarify myself and sometimes i don't or i can't ....

Re: Clarify yourself?

Yes. clarify kerney sai naak neechee nahi hotee

one can be misunderstood because of many valid reasons including (but not limited to) language barrier, other person now knowing the context etc etc.

Re: Clarify yourself?

when elders r involved…it feels impolite to make them feel wrong :bummer:

Re: Clarify yourself?

Yes, always, it's just more pleasant if everyone's on the same page and understands the situation.

Re: Clarify yourself?

You need to clarify yourself. It is the first and one of the only ways you can defend yourself. Otherwise, people will continue to walk over you, take advantage of you and label you anyway they like.

Re: Clarify yourself?

on GS, it always backfires.

Re: Clarify yourself?

:hmmm:
so u both always clarify urself?

i wasnt talking abt gs…

Re: Clarify yourself?

Yes. Always.

Re: Clarify yourself?

one should always try to make himself clear so that no confusions remain.

Re: Clarify yourself?

If the person means something to me, then yes I do clarify if I feel they may have misunderstood my point. Otherwise, if I don't care fo rhte person...I don't.

Re: Clarify yourself?

that's not a wrong approach at all but many people look at it in a different way and never want to be misunderstood by any one.
