Anyone writing CKE (Core Knowledge exam) in May 2010 in ontario? Please let me know maybe we can study together or share study material. I just ordered Densmore MC 's. I’ve read online and there are mixed reviews about Norgrove’s exam (confidence crasher).
Any tips, links to exams or if someone wrote CKE in jan 2010, maybe if you have the material, you can give to me??

I just want to add that CICA-Ontario has just removed the prerequisite of you must be enrolled at an Auditing firm before you can write your exams. Last month, that is.
Now as long as you have a 4 year degree having 120 credits and an average of B, you may write CKE, SoA and UFe. You still have to do 30 months though. :p

yeah i knwo about the exemption and thanks a lot for replying. when did you write your cke? recently? maybe you have any mock exams with you? any tips/advice?

I took it a while back and my notes are still with my mom’s friends daughter who for some reason has misplaced the notes..blah blah blah..You should get the point. 
There are NO mock exams. It is a 4 hour exam based around 100 MC.
As for the tips: I strongly suggest you take the ICA-O prep course and drill the MCs. You’ll be fine. It is only CKE.
Densmore MC will be extra help and not really needed untill you pass SoA. Still, their website is as follows:

Hey thank u so much..i've already ordered and received densmore mc questions (the ones intended for cke)..i've heard from many ppl densmore are the easiest and hardest are norgrove. i'm still wanting to do questions. i've heard/read if you take one of the prep courses (pass or icao) they give you mock exams to prepare you for cke that's why i was asking if you had mock exams.
icao cancelled their prep course due to low enrollment.

Two of my friends are writing CKE in January next.
Normally in May, it is slightly harder as the ones who failed in Januray are writing it again in May. That is what my Jewish colleague told me who took it twice. I wrote in May last year and I did not have any problem. So it all depends on how well prepared you are.
All the best for your May exams. Otherwise you always have the option to group up with my friends for the next January exam. :-)
