i was thinking of wearing something similiar to this with organza /chiffon cap sleeves.

i think the first pictured dress is a bit much just for the courthouse instead i’d opt for a simpler but white or off white dress that can be worn to other occasions easily. that dress would only get one wear and i don’t think it’s very nice.
a lot of arab brides have white wedding dresses with long sleeves and if you were to go to a bridal store to have a typical white american wedding dress (even though u can’t wear it again) many places have boleros that come with the dress that girls opt to wear during their church ceremony and they take it off for the reception.
anyhow i really liked this dress, if you were to get one like it in white maybe you could wear it again to a white person’s wedding reception or charity ball or something

I was thinking of wearing a one-shoulder gown but am thinking it may be a bit much even tho civil ceremony will only be v.v.close friends and family and my hair will be covering my shoulders.. Do desis ever go completely strapless cos then I could tell my Mum at least I’m not doing that lol
