There were sectarian issues in Iraq, during his reign Saddam had oppressed the Shias and now they are embroiled in a bitter civil war of sorts with the minority Sunnis in an attempt to take control of the country.
That doesn’t exonerate the UK or the US for an unnecessary war but the iraqi sectarian problems are of their own.

This is false assessment if you speak to iraqis they say there was intermarriage between sects they was neighbors there was no problems between them. There was problems in the north saddam oppressed kurds.

But in rest of iraq no way there was sectarian problem as you say. Today its a disaster since the Americans arrived you have have had bombs in shia mosques and sunni mosques what a coincidence???
