Almost simultaneously its been gently broken to the american and british media by retired or outgoing american and british officials that Iraq “could” be heading towards a civil war.
The timing is significant, at a time when conflict in the middle east is encouraged to be seen along sectarian lines in some quarters (quarters incidentally close to western/israeli govts) could we see greater prominence in the media, and in actuality too to violence against sects in Iraq?
It was a known "conspiracy theory" or known possibility that in order to prolong its stay coalition forces will incite the civil war between the two factions which is always so easy to blame on "history of Muslims sects". Iraqis will burn and kill each other giving its sovereignty to outside world. Yesterday on NPR (radio station) in news I heard that there are only $2billion left from the reconstruction cost of Iraq.
Can reconstruction complete in $2billion? I doubt. Would the American public understand what is happening? No, because the possibilities of terror are only going up. Would anyone question on the results of "war on terror"? I doubt.
