Now days the buzz isn’t about Saddam himself but the battle that will move on between the two sects for the coming years.
If Saddam had rotted in jail or was killed by an outsider the man would’ve died a normal death but with him hanging and standing strong makes it seem like he’s a martyr. Not only that but it ignites the sunni sects because it was the day before Eid and it was done in a very shameful manner.
I love the fact how everyone believes that it’s him who poisoned the kurds when people tend to forget the handshake between Saddam & Donald Rumsfield. It was the USA that gave him the power to do everything he did from attacking Iran to using poisonous gas.
Iraq is a country that can only be managed with the tip of the sword. It goes back centuries…even our prophet Abraham is from that side of the country. Those who’ve studied Iraqs history know well that Baghdad alone was the New York of its time for decades and a haven for knowledge where people would come from corners of the world to seek information that would lead to modern day science/technology.
Iraq will eventually or perhaps has become a nation that will split in two and either side will never let the other co-exist.
As always USA played it smart by handing over Saddam to the Shia’s, knowing what the result would be which in return would cause a civial war. This makes it easier for USA - Israel to target Iran with a nuke or better yet another invasion similar to Iraq.
Any one else see where this is all heading because watching CNN, BBC, etc… and having each idiot repeat the same lines over and over again till it’s stomped into your head doesn’t solve the problem.
