OK! For Non-Resident-Pakistanis (NRP), is it easy to obtain citizenship in another Muslim country?
The answer is plain NO! In fact some of the worst treatment given to NRPs is in the Muslim lands.
On the other hand, Christian nations like US, Canada, and UK allow the legal NRPs full rights in 3-10 years.

Anti.. In Dubai they don’t call it Citizenship, they call it Hakama. Many Pakistanis get Hakamas when they work there. Some Pakistanis wait in Pakistan for their Hakamas to come from Dubai. I believe that the generation of Pakistanis that was born in Dubai Shubai and have never really visited Pakistan all their lives and go to Pakistan when they reach College age (no colleges in Dubai) and they come and they can’t relate to Pakistan. Everything seems so different to them, their culture, their places, and all. They speak Punjabi with an Arbi accent (Ya Rafeek Kithay Janada aaiN – min fadlik). These are the cheapest class of Pakistanis and they are single handedly responsible for keeping Pakistan the way it is – killing people in mosques, etc.
So, to answer your question. It will be a good idea for Arbi people to give Hakama to Pakistani people. It will be a win-win situation. They can keep these morons there. We can do without them.

I have known many such kids who are born inside an oil well and when they come to Pakistan as late teenager to go to college, they think that they are the gift of Allah :swt: to this universe. They only hang out only with other Ikama people and they think they can buy anyone and anything. There was this guy in my class in Lahore and he would flash his Iqama in our face and will tell us that he can travel free whenever he wants and wherever he wants, and I once told him where to shove his Ikama. I said it nicely. But I don’t blame them. Anyone who has lived out of any place goes thru an adjustment period (especially the young punks). I don’t know if guest workers have any citizenship rights in any of those country. At best they can be some sort of permanent residents short of being a citizen. May be it has changed now, as my information is pretty dated.

America is not a Christian nation. Yes majority of people are Christians but that does not make it a Christian nation. Our founding fathers made it really clear. Have you ever heard of Separation of Church and State

Dubai gives more respect to Christians and Jews than it does to Pakistani or Indians (Muslims) accept for their own Locals!
I have seen ppl working there and getting more paid for being American, Russian, Austrian, German than even their own Locals!
And Antiobl, I consider Dubai as a State of UAE and UAE is a muslim country. Getting a nationality or not is not the point!

I somewhat agree. Arab nations (not UAE but kuwait and saudi arabia) especially treat pakistanis like sh!t and give their gora co workers all the respect possible. From what ive heard, they are more racist towards desis than any other nation in the world. Im so glad ive never been to those places. It won't be long till all the muslim world will look up to pakistan, though they should already be looking up to us.
