Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

freaks out and steps back from shak and stonecold

Re: “Citizen Khan” on BBC

I know the guy personally. He is Pakistani, both his parents are. His mother, like me was born in Kenya, father from Pakistan, fathers name starts with R hence the ray.

As for the programme. :nook:

Lol I never said ggm wasn't funny. Just that by the end all I heard was crude jokes...
Here let me buy you a box set of the British The Office. :)

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

Top Gear, O yeah! And the Brits are the only ones who can do it right. The American Top Gear is dull and boring and I haven't seen the Australian one. No one beats Clarkson and his politically incorrect humor.

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

Have you seen the episode when clarkson visited india.....:D

they showed indian railway on that that telecast....

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

Ahh the funniest comedy EVER! David Brent was the best! :)
I didn't know about this citizen Khan either. I will catch it on the iPlayer and give my verdict then!:D

It was awesome!

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

oh god, they are going totally barmy on FB over the programme, people threatening to kill people, blow things up, absolutely ridiculous, the usual "bro's" using disgusting language, swearing and generally humara naam roshun kar rahay hain! oh theres even a suggestion its a jewish conspiracy LOL
I ACTUALLY THOUGHT it was a load of rubbish, it wasnt clever, it wasnt well acted and to be honest it was just plain bukwaas, a poor mans goodness gracious me which was brilliant!.
Only Dave the ginger convert sounded vaguely brummie and where the hell was amjad the mungaiter supposed to be from?

I remember amjad from lunch monkeys and he's quite funny.
I think the verdict is out...

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

StoneCold: GGM was the best of the Asian british humor. But in terms of british humor, it does not come even close to the likes of Black Adder, Monty Python..

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

Yeah remember that one. Food transportation.
The one where they took 3 red cars was brutal. Especially the Lambo at Imola. Exhaust pipes turning red, Oooo.

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

That one created quite a controversy in india....:(

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

The food cans? Why?

Agreed.

Re: "Citizen Khan" on BBC

I love British comedy, and Faulty Towers was a fav of mine and my dad too, and Fools & Horses is funny as well....

I also like Keeping Up Appearances...the old lady is so nutty
