  • In the right hands Tim Seeley’s 'Hack/Slash’, a series of comics about a gal who hunts small town slashers, could be a big screen license to print money. Unfortunately the live-action film has been in a holding pattern since its original writing-directing pair were swapped out last year.   • ‘The Reasonable Bunch’, a new comedy directed by Sam Levinson about an unruly batch of relatives and exes at a family wedding, has just cast Demi Moore, Thomas Haden Church, Kate Bosworth, Martin Landau, Ellen Barkin and Ellen Burstyn. Here’s hoping for a similar ensemble success as Death at a Funeral. (The British one, not the American remake.)

  • James Cameron is getting back in the spy business with another ‘True Lies’. Only this time he’ll be ushering it along as a TV show.
