In western societies homosexuality is amongst those who are naturally inclined towards homosexuality (cause of genetic malfunction or hormonal imbalances), something present in every society, though people of such natural causes (genetic malfunction or hormonal imbalances) in conservative society like Pakistan keep their urge suppressed and controlled, but show up in western societies openly, hence we can spot them easily in western societies.
On the other hand, homosexuality in some Pakistani communities (that is increasing amongst so-called religiously inclined communities with closed mind) is not due to natural malfunction in gene or hormonal imbalances, but due to enforced need caused by sex segregation, gender inequality, no respect and rights for females, lack of access to even legal relationship (marriage in some Pakistani community is expensive for men), and various other factors that are not due natural causes. Rape of young boys and females (girls of all ages, women and young girls) are also common in Pakistan due to same reasons.
Errr, last time I checked there is no scientific study to suggest homosexuality is a result of ‘genetic malfunction’ or there’s a gene for homosexuality. So you might wanna be careful with you say, there are some what more decent ways to convey homophobia.
