Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
are there any churches in Saudia?
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
Maine suna hai ki khufiya church hai ![]()
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
That might be a rumor. Any churches there either have been converted to mosques or protected as archeological site, which is also a far fetched thought ![]()
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
Well as i said 'khufiya' .
Even though a lot isnt allowed here a number of things are being done khamoshi se & v few hv access to it.
Christian & Hindu gatherings tou hoti hain... my proff used to attend them....but ofcourse khufiya not openly.
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
Okay... But officially do they preserved some pre-Islamic churches in Saudia?
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
I dont think so.They are not much into preserving things which is a sad thing :(
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
but then again,Im not sure.
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
Yes they even don’t promote the Islamic archeological places, so I’m not sure that they kept that symbols of Kufr intact ![]()
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
But they should :(
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
obviously they should. Archeology support your history.

Re: Churches of Sub-Continent

Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
lol@khufiya church. Saudis would never allow religious freedom. Mean if someone wants to practice freely they can’t.
Re: Churches of Sub-Continent
One of the other church i used to go pray when we visited Lahore. This church was built in 1907 byzantine style.

St Paul’s Church in Ambala Cantonment is one of the oldest church in the region. St Pauls church, which was consecrated on January 4, 1857, was bombed during the 1965 Indo-Pak war. The bombing by a Pakistani aircraft considerably destroyed the beautiful church building and today only the church tower remains.
