have u guys seen that cringeworthy video where that yasir hussain dude propsed iqra aziz in some award show. he was doing chumma chaammi of her khullam khulla in "Islamic" republic of Pakistan hence the criticism they are facing. whats your take guys? why become so gora ?

it's not like they were doing anything obscene. and it's not about being gora or not. there are plenty of gore people who wouldn't kiss someone in public even because they are shy or even hug.. I have seen hijabis openly dance with guys at restaurants, people wiht tasbeeh in their hand cussing people out, and gore who wouldn't even hold someone's hand in public because they feel awkward. so, it's about your own level of comfort
I've read stuff online where people were upset that she wore a ponytail and therefore was "unpresentable". Are you kidding me?!?!? first of all, I highly doubt she knew, and even of she did, so what if she wore a ponytail, that isn't bothering anyone.
like come on... when are people going to let other people live without criticizing every single thing ??!

They acted what their instagram profile showing since last few months.
Nobody is stopping them, but when you do something en public then obviously people will give their opinion on it. Moreover, that is exactly what this Yasir dude wanted: getting attention etc. So, mission accomplished.
And it was awkward indeed.
I thought it was corny/cheesy. It didn't make me go, "Aaawwnnn." But then again, I think all such proposals which run like public announcements are corny.
Has anyone seen the movie, Dil Dhadakne Do? It came out about 4 years ago and had a huge star cast. In that movie, Anil Kapoor plays the philandering husband who just as actively tries to maintain the appearance of a devoted husband before his friends. One day when he reaches out affectionately toward his wife, she swats his hand away and sarcastically quips, "Kisay dikhana hai." The hand retreated just as quickly. But I cracked up at that part and that is really the only scene from the movie that I remember. And so now......whenever I see a couple get all touchy-feely in public........I think, "Kisay dikhana hai?" and then I laugh inwardly to myself. While sometimes the affection does feel genuine, there are times I get a fake vibe from it.

I have not seen even the most liberal of the desi couples in US do this kinda chooma chaati in public. This incident they are going to censor from airing on TV in Pakistan, for obvious reasons.

I have met this Yasir Hussain character and he is a totes paindoo bun-kebab type. I think these two are suffering from some sort of inferiority complex and want to project that they are very maaddraann. Angrezi theek say bol nahi saktay par harkatain angrezon wali karni hai.

Couldn't care less about the PDA. What annoyed me was that this was obviously a publicity stunt. They were unofficially engaged months before this and there are pics to prove this. What's worse is Yasir Hussain hijacked what was a moment of celebration for Iqra Aziz as she had won an LSA for best actress. Instead she should actually be p*ssed at his poor-timing and neediness.
