Bride is a name of charismatic personality. So much jewelry, happy heart, lil tense, tons of makeup and pre-makeup beautifications, expensive dress… I don think so wid these factors + more, anyone could look bad. Chubby is kinda cute… I have seen many heavey brides, looking cute, as skinnier look elderly in pics coz of boney structure…
To look less bulky

  • wear undergarments to smooth out bulges , ma freind did once wid some saree… it was hell :Dso try before ur big day, or chose normal undergarments wid proper fittings.

  • Wear good eye makeup but not darker one which can make ur eyes look bigger n bulgin, ask beautician to spend more time contouring ur face.:wub:

  • Wear small neck jewelry and lil longer ear rings. ( neck jewelry should be in V shape and not too much small which makes ur neck look heavey, but avoid big big kundan haar :smack:)

  • Wear longer short wid kaam in vertical way. Now a days as longer tail frocks are in in, they can be good bridal dress irrespective of lehnga and gharara. Beside, gharara makes u look shorter though, but never heavier. Gathering on knees makes u look shorter but flair from knee side and tight knicker portion above knee makes u look slimmer if u chose right fabric… chose chiffon, double chiffon, but not banarasi or kattan gharara gonna make u look regal n classy :wub:

  • For shirt u can always chose banarsi

  • Use separate colors for shirt and sleeves… for example, if ur shirt is basically red, chose sleeves of different color, for instance if blue is the color somewhere in gharara or sharara, chose that in sleeves ( it actually show division in ur shoulders, u look slimmer less broader, using darker shade as shirt and lighter as sleeves makes u look less heavey from shoulders but bulging arms, so try combinations, for instance if ma arms are bulky, I’ll choose both dark colors.

  • Now dupatta, select heavy kaam for duppatta border to keep attention at dupatta then face and in comparison face will look smaller.

  • Use dupatta from front covering if ur breast are heavier, in drippy way, so that it isn’t wrapped around, it makes u look slimmer

  • If u r heavey from hips, chose vertical dupatta… kinda… from one shoulder…

  • Hairstyle, if u feel ur face is big, use hair style wid lots of backcombing from head, and some flicks from hair to make u face look slimmer, avid curls, they make ur face more prominent. Just have beautiful joora ( which gonna be covered by dupatta and have lots of flicks but not that many to make u look messy :P)

  • If ur face is not that big, and its chubby on cuter side, select hairstyle wid lil backcombing and open hair, straight ones

  • Avoid avoid avoid side bangs wid tikka…. That will de-symmetry ur face

  • Matha patti can make ur face bigger or smaller, based on design, for that,I have not checked yet :S

  • Bigger tikka make ur face smaller though J

Tip* - wear a front open style long shirt. - get the kaan done vertically- wear a deep color ( light colors make you look bigger)- don't get chunky broad kaam around the neck instead get kaam coming down you chest till above the belly button.- don't wear half sleeves it makes your arms look heavy ( tight full choori waley bazoo look very classy)- don't mix up alot of colors try using just one color, it'll make you look slimmer and taller!- tell your makeup artist to contour your face around your face on your temples, sides of cheeks- wear a middle parting in your hair itll make ur face longer-ive seen alot of brides wearing loose sleeves and really bad fitting, try checking your fitting before the wedding day! Wearing a perfect sized bra matters alot! So cmon full figured brides go get yourself a supportive bra:) hope this helps! Oooo one more thing! You are not chubby of fat! You are big sexy full figured beauties :)
