Google Chrome takes the lead over Firefox in browsing speed & efficiency, browser load time & in page load time. Although Firefox is great for its support for extensions, but still Chrome is in its early stage. Surely future will be brighter.

Chrome wins hand down. Not only its better with browser load or page load time but also beats rest of the browsers in startup time and its rendering engine, WebKit, is the fastest one tested. And lets face it, Gecko, is out of touch. In December alone, Chrome grew to 1% of the entire browser market which is pretty impressive considering a lot of people don’t know about it and its relatively young. Its been my primary browser ever since it was released.

Chrome is probably the best browser I've ever used, I am a big fan of Opera browser but Chrome forced me out of it!...

I totally agree. I have started using chrome now instead of FF. FF is becoming slow anyway with every new version. Here is my preferred list
I just use FF for some of its add-ons specially developer's add-ons
I haven't tried Chrome yet. Until now I've been using Flock (a firefox powered browser) and IE7. After reading all the positive experiences, I think I'll download it and try it out.

I installed Chrome, tried it, tested it ... and uninstalled it. FF spoiled me. I'll wait sometime more before google add some more functionality to it :p

I installed Chrome last nite, i did notice a speed increase when pages were uploading.

seems amazingly fast . I installed it this morning and I am happy so far.

Maybe it's just me, but Chrome looks too bland. I still like firefox better.
Perhaps with new layout Chrome might look more appealing.

Its actually the simplicity of this browser that I love! Its compact small, doesn't take up much space on your screen, and allows for BLAZING fast speeds!
Also, the address bar is a google search bar :D love it

I am a big fan of Opera 9.6. Extremely fast with lots of customizable options. Give it a try; I think you'll like it :)

and that is exactly why it is blazing fast. Give it some time, till they come up with add-ons and plug-ins. we will see a significant drop in performance.

I doubt if Chrome is beating FF at the moment, surely it will down the road but it's too early to say that. What source did you get this information from? Many people out in the world still have no clue what "google chrome" is. The same applies to FF but it's been around for quite some time now(way longer then chrome). I recall FF breaking the record when it's newest version released last year for the most downloads in the history of the internet.
Pretty impressive.
