Christmas past

There was a time when children did not expect to computer games and robotic hamsters on Christmas morning - they were instead grateful to find a simple wooden toy and a satsuma in their stocking.

The Geffrye Museum in east London is celebrating the best of Christmas past, by transforming its room sets of English period living rooms for the festive season. Take a tour with the museum’s deputy director Christine Lalumia.
