well PCG, bath and body is a good place, you can find lot of sastay and cute gifts. Few other places would be wal-mart, target, and walgreens. They have lot of cheap but decent/cute gift sets, beautiful sented candles, chocolate packs etc
You can also get cheap crystal candy bowls or baskets from JC Penny or Macy's, fill them up with some chocoaltes or mints.

Re: Christmas List

Lo…doesn’t everyone know that asking Santa really means asking your parents? Doesn’t everyone know that it’s the parents that really put that gift there?

Where has he been depicted as having divine power?

It’s hard to find sastay but good gifts that you want your name to stand behind. I’ve got a few kids to buy for and it’s getting pretty expensive, if you ask me.

How about giving them something useful like calendars in their favorite themes? At least they will be used. Or maybe something simple like a hat/scarf/mitten set…they aren’t too expensive and very, very useful.

Re: Christmas List

There's nothing wrong with giving Christmas presents, afterall we r allowed to celebrate it in our ways...not like the Christians do necessarily but it is a Prophet's birthday also.

That aside, i love Christmas time! It depends wot u mean by cheap though...and of course, if they r male or female friends...since they r friends, i guess not too cheap. Well i've learnt that in America, u have sales before Xmas too! So thesedays it's not difficult to find good stuff on sale. In the UK we have TK Maxx, and in America it's T**J **Maxx...great shop for presents...but just try different gift shops too (private). Gadgets r great for guys, and for girls u can buy gift baskets of tolietries or perfume etc....small clocks, makeup sets, handbags, shirt/tie, teddybears, biscuits, Xmas ornaments, photo frames, gourmet coffee, stationary...the list is endless...and u probably know wot each friend's taste is, so keep that in mind.

Re: Christmas List

I'm not getting presents this year :(

Re: Christmas List

A new Car!

Re: Christmas List

NO… all christian kids are first taught to believe in Santa as if he is some godly creature. They learn it otherwise later in their life though.

Re: Christmas List

if thats really were the case then how come postal services receive thousands of letters from kids adressed to santa? shouldn’t they just put those letters under their parents pillows so that they can get whatever they are wishing for?

Re: Christmas List

No it is not, it was invented by Pagans but the Christians later adopted it from them and pretended it was Jesus’s :as: birthday.

Just like in some places Norooz was originally Zoroastrian but Muslims adopted it or kept it when they converted to Islam and gave it an “Islamic color” with the Qur’aan on the Haft Seen table etc.

Anyway, even if it were Prophet Jesus’s :as: birthday, birthdays are not a thing to be celebrated in our religious culture, we don’t celebrate birthdays, they mean nothing on our calendar, not Jesus’s :as: not Muhammed’s :saw:, be original.

Make use of the cheap lights and tinsel from after Christmas and make festive our own Festvial which we’re suppose to celebrate.

where is my post????
