The films show balaclava-clad white British men bran dishing guns, knives and clubs, calling on all Muslims to leave Britain or be killed. One appears to be a soldier who has served in the Gulf.

What group do you want an apology from? Far right extremists, white people, Brits, soldiers who have served in Gulf, those with Welsh or Brtitish accents? I didn't see that these people were pretending to represent Christianity or Christians, just intolerant bigots. Have you seen the video? Do they hold Bibles or shout Praise Jesus!

Very valid question ...
But then if you sit back and think, the answer might come naturally to you. If a group of perople claiming allegiance to a particular religion goes on and on about killing innocent civilians, there will be a reaction from these fringe elements. How long do you expect these reactionaries to sit quiet and watch when the muslim fanatics justify killing of civilians.

All us muslims r terrorist, we shud all be killed, that's the only way to bring peace on earth. Most non-muslims think that way even if they don't come out and say it, it might be true, who knows. There was one point where people from all religions lived side by side in peace, I wonder what happened to trigger what is happening today.

It does show that fringe extremist elements exits across societies irrespective of religion (you love to hear this - yeah there are such elements among Hindus tooooo). The reasons for their behavior is a different story (for eg PDragon here might think that all such finge elements whose religion merely 'happens to be' Islam are justified while other such such people do so purely because of their religion's teaching and very nature)
The trouble is when the proportion of such fringe elements increases and they no longer remain fringe...something like that had happened when Shiv Sena was stronger in Mumbai (now its as good as wiped out and the sooner Mr Thackeray dies, the better) and am sure the proportion of such is higher in Gujarat else those acts wouldnt have happened.
But what is certainly amusing is this so very obvious desire n P Dragon to drag the name of other religions and asociate the word Terrorists with it....whether it really is proclaimed that way by the people is inconsequential... like the Hindu terrorists - LTTE!!!! It was never referred that way coz the issue is not based on religion but still folks like PDragon want to drag the religion into it....wonder why....
Oh to come to the key point - yeah the British guys are in the wrong and action shoudl be taken against them....

Its just an overreaction by a few people who are fed up of Islamic terrorism worldwide, and specifically in the UK. Unless Islamic countries & Islamic leaders take steps to disassociate their religion from terrorism, such one-off things are bound to happen.
