Why Christian Missionaries were inactive in 6th century Hejaz (Arabia)?
While going through Quran, we come across information that they used to hide religious information from people and there are occasions when they and jews asked the Prophet (SAW) to tell about a particular incident to authenticate his being Prophet. This shows that they kept on holding information for some reasons, even before the advent of Islam and became more cautious when Quran was being revealed.
Was missionary function not established during that era or there were some reasons that they were not that active in Hejaz?
