**Chotee see ghalat fehmi ker daye gee juda hum ko
Halaat na badlayingay maloum na tha hum ko

Rishtou ki hamayin itnee pehchan na thee pehlay
Kehnay ko marasim tou apnay thay bohat gehray**

**Ashkoun kai sewa kuch bhee na mila hum ko
Halaat na badlayingay maloum na tha hum ko

Uuth-tay huwey qadmoun mai zanjeer see per jatee
Ahsas e nidamat say dehleez per gar jatee**

**Aik baar mohabbat say daytaay jo sada hum ko
Halaat na badlayingay maloum na tha hum ko
**
