Chotay Bros

What would you buy for them? Whenever I go home, I like to buy them something cause they are my adorable little set of princes. I’ve bought them an X-box cord (they asked for that one), ear phones, College T-shirts (my school’s football team sucks, so it wasn’t like buying Nat’l Champ College Ts), and caps, and pens!

I’m running out of ideas. It has to be under $20, because I’m a ramen noodle eating college student, and plus i have to get two of everything cuz i have two younger bros (i don’t play favorites- i love them both to death). My bros are in high school. I wish they were still babies so i could just buy them pokemon cards!! lol! It’s so hard to find stuff for guys!

sweet!!!

Re: Chotay Bros

NO, PM! I NEED IDEAS!!! i'm going home nxt mon, iA and i can't just go home empty handed- i mean i could, but i don't want to!!

Re: Chotay Bros

nahhhh
your act is so sweet it just blows my mind away.

I remember when my sister came back from my mamoon's and she brought me and little brother presents. We were little kids then. But I still remember.

Re: Chotay Bros

Get them DVDs to watch.
Or those games for their gaming console.

Re: Chotay Bros

PMs idea was good. Games, DVDs, books, their favorite dessert, something for their room, scarves and hats work well too and thats all I can think of for now...

Re: Chotay Bros

games games n games...we always get used once frm gamestop ... great prices...u can order them online as well.

OKAY, OKAY, here's the thing-- No games or DVDs. because they have too way to many, and it's not good for there studying to be watching DVDs or playing video games all day long (i know, i know - i'm a party pooper baji- but i really care about their future). My older bro spoils them enough with that stuff!

I want something they can use...preferably something educational or htey can use/wear, something that is NOT a video/computer game or DVD...

Re: Chotay Bros

I tried hard, but couldn't think of anything under $20... B&N gift cards, $10 each for both?

yeah, it's really hard to find things under $20. with girls it's so ez! i can think of a thousand things to buy! but with guys it's tough!

why do guys have to so difficult in the gift department!lol. maybe i'll just buy them some good books...what books are good for teenage boys that they would llike to read over and over again? Islamic books are fair game too, they like those too...and i know where to buy them.

but if there's anyting beyond books....that would be good....maybe i'll just take a stroll around wal-mart to see what they have...

what abt posters..i remember once we had a art sale at uni. and i bought a Scarface movie poster for my brother (he loves all those movies) anyway he loved it…only thing was i later found out what that “white dusty powder was on his shoulder”:what:

Re: Chotay Bros

Buy their favorite cookies , candies , mithai. As for DVD and Video games . Since they are high schoolers they are not going to spend all day in front of TV. They would know their limitations also mom and dad would not let them waste their time either.

Well, the thing is we come from a rather high achieving family....so we really don't have a TV, and they play watch dvds, video games, etc only when my older bro comes over or there at the neighbors or something....

there athletic though (all of us excell in atleast one sport, my bros excel in basketball)...maybe i'll buy some badmintion equiptment or something...wonder how much that costs....what are some other athletic stuff they could use?

hmmm, Muhammad ali posters seems like a good idea…

Do you cook, and if so, is there anything they really like that you can make special for them? Do they like to spend time with you, like going bowling or to a movie, or out rollerblading? I don't know how practical it is, but perhaps you could make your own homemade 'gift certificates' for them, like, "This certificate entitles the bearer to a dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies at the time of his choosing", or "This certificate entitles the bearer to an afternoon of roller blading." Sounds kind of cheesy, but it can be really sweet if you have the right kind of relationship with them...

I hope they sting you like a bee! j/k

Re: Chotay Bros

how about music cds?

haha, i would take them out somewhere, but the only place they like to go is the b-ball courts. they go there each evening anyways. basketball is like their passion- going bowling, to movies, is like too sissy for them. it's like taking time away from them to play/practice basketball, ha ha!

i'd go and play basketball with them, but they're super serious about the game...haha..

i think posters are a good idea....lol...maybe i'll buy a hakeem olujuwon one! lol.

OH WHAT ABOUT A BASKETBALL TECHNIQUE BOOK?????? is there such a book?

or where can i get those nike sweat bands, like you say the nba players wearing? like on their arms or head? that can't cost too much...

no music allowed....don't ask. serious, but loving household!
