Lets suppose that your significant other has a habbit of chori-ing your gum and eating it and not fessing up. What do you do then ?

Confront them. But only after letting them wake up to your dresser mirror with this message in red lipstick "I know what you have been upto" while you are out of town so that he/she does not suspect you.

After that, you always replenish your supply of gum. And as a gesture of kindness put a pack of gum in his/her purse/bag too.

  1. Tape a message to your packet of gum. For example, “Shame, shame, I know your name. Stealing my gum, you’re insane” …“Steal my gum and I know where to find ya”…etc.

  2. Take an empty packet of gum and somehow try to fill the silver wrappers with fake gum. Basically make it look it’s a full packet and not an empty one. Yes, it will annoy your SO. Yes, it’s twisted, but hella funny! I attended a wedding where the the bride had placed beautiful boxes of Lindt chocolates. The kids at the wedding ate he chocolates and then moulded the empty round wrappers into their previous shape, and stuffed them in the pretty boxes and retied the ribbons, making them look untouched. It was so evil, but so funny as people fell for it.

  3. Place gum in different location.

  4. Confront your SO if it’s really troublesome.

  5. Buy extra gum when you go grocery shopping, so he/she has their own pack.

  6. Give SO the cold shoulder. When they ask why you have an attitude, respond with “I though you’d find the icy-coolness to be refreshing” :snooty:

Anyway I would be secretly very please actually… we share a lot of things and I think it’s sweet… But stealing is mean, and stealing and not telling is doubly so…

But I would avoid direct confrontation… that lipstick idea of princessjo sounds clever…

Or even use a fake gum packet with the moustrap mechanism in it… the jokeshop still does them i think :hehe:

I say .. report him to the Pakistani Police and then kataa a FIR ..and then go do a long march ... after which you do a dharna out side the Supreme court for your case to be heard ...after which Ch Ifti may give the ruling to stone him/her ..I think this about sounds the right punishment for stealing gum ..set an example for the rest of the humanity :p

If he/she resorts to stealing then it is sure that you are not taking good care of your partners needs. You are not a good provider . You need relationship counseling .
