Chopping and slicing Gadget

I want to gift someone a chopping and a slicing gadget /machine thats not too expensive or complicated to use.. something they can use in their day to day life easily .. they have arthritis in their hands hence cant work with the knife conveniently .. neither can they pick up heavy stuff

Any recommendations?

Re: Chopping and slicing Gadget

You mean like a food processor? Or something manually operated? Have you had a look at the magic bullet machine?

Re: Chopping and slicing Gadget

Is a V slicer considered expensive? Because its really good.

Re: Chopping and slicing Gadget

tefal has a small food processor. its quite small and light weight comared to a normal food processor. It’s $77 aud, but Aus is generally expensive and you could probably get it for much less in other countries

Re: Chopping and slicing Gadget

Went to lidl today and saw a grater/slicer thingy it’s like a grater with different attachments so you can peel stuff or something - I didn’t look properly but it was there today and I’m pretty sure I went last week and it was there too, so you might try your like and find one. Oh Lidl is in the UK if you’re Amreekan you won’t find it…soz!

That’s a mandolin isn’t it?
