velvet, do u coat them wtih breadcrumbs/flour too? or just in egg?
u know these are fantastic ideas. I have been so lazy lately, i need to step up my game.

If you're making it in the first way that I described (the shami kabab style)...then you'll take an egg, crack it, and beat it. Then wet your hands a bit, form the circular aaloo tiki and dip it the beaten egg (like a shami kabab) and shallow fry until golden in a frying pan.
For the second option....you just use bread crumbs. Try the first option...it's more consistent than the second one.
