What are the factors that you consider when choosing a doctor? Aside from being part of hte insurance’s network and all, how else do you decide?

^ lol!
I look at the location of the doctor's practice, the gender (must be female), general reputation etc.... not much really.
Re: Choosing a Doctor
In Canada, we have a shortage of family doctors/GP's - so the first thing I look for is a doctor that is accepting new patients (because most of them arent), then I make sure the doctor is female. Then I also prefer someone who is older, because they have more experience. And I also ask around to find references, and recommendations. And also that they are close to where I live, and wait times are not going to be hours and hours! and a clean clinic!
