Yes Umerkot is the place connected to Rajishtan and Humayon got refuge on his way to Iran. During this refuge Akbar was born in Umar Kot. But in Sindh, Umar Kot is famous due to folk tale of Umar Marvi. A few people know about Akbar’s birth place.Yes Hala is famous for its handicrafts locally known as Jundi.. I think I had a thread on Hala too.Dadu is called Vietnam of Pakistan due to MRD movement during Zia Regime. Until Musharraf Regime it was the biggest district in Sindh which on one hand connected to Balochistan and on other sides its boundaries touched Karachi near Thano Boola Khan. Now its divided into two districts for political purposes.I’ve been to Dadu Moro pull for many times. In our childhood, during floods, we used to go there for seeing flood in River Indus.
ohhhhh … Umar marvi … same lady who is buried in the middle of the lake, i mean her shrine is in middle of a famous lake, kanjeer I think… there was this famous drama “Marvi” one of my favs…
