Tlk, no it wasnt painful at all...it was like a rush, like a train rushing by and then...nothing. And when you wake up all the kids think you're a hero like you've gone to heaven and back or something. Its one of those things that has made me so very against rushing kids (most esp in USA) to earlier education. I was the youngest and - wanting so badly to be accepted, I was one of the "fainters". If I had been kept back a year, perhaps I'd have been mature enough to tell the other gals "this is really stoooooopid."
