ok so i wanted 2 make them 4 da first time,so i melted the chocolate

and this is where i mess up:i had been saving frozen strawberries 4 a smoothie,but i just decided 2 use them 4 my chocolate strawberries!

BIG MISTAKE^
i mean,there pretty gud 4 a beginer,but there not bad…
my first disaters are really not that bad

Moral of the story:NEVER use frozen strawberris 4 chocolate strawberries

I dont think you are suppose to use frozen strawberries. Always use fresh.

yup..always use fresh. The only berries that keep their consistency when frozen are blueberries. :)

thanks frontier... now im craving those. if you are into fondue try this restaurant melting pot. everything is a fondue and you cook it yourself. very romantic.

barfee, try meltingpot.com for locations. be ready to drop a few bux. but, its worth every penny just like godiva choc.

Barfee, do you mean that restaurant is in Troy, MI? A couple months ago we were staying in this Resort Hotel in Santa Barbara and they left us these huge chocolate covered strawberries. My 4 year old's eyes popped. She sat on the bed and soon her whole face and hands were chocolatey. She says she wants to make some of those at home so I'd love to take her to that fondue place.
