i want to have a chocolate filling inside made with chocolate, buttur, sugar and vanilla essance etc…searched the internet but still not sure how to make it…!

do i melt the buttur and chocolate together and then add the sugar and vanila in it and den whisk it? and den wait for it to cool a bit before adding it in the middle of the cake layers?

and what about the icing? what do i do with that? i want chocolaty and creamy kind of icing…but again not sure how to do it…

any of you have any idea? please do share by friday…as i will be making it on friday night…

thanks soooooooooooo much in advance…

Re: chocolate cake filling help

you would fill it with chocolate buttercream.
heres the recipe:

bake the cake a day in advance and let it cool. then wrap in cling wrap and put in the fridge overnight. this will help minimize crumbs and make it easier to slice. pipe an edge of icing all around the cake once you’ve sliced it and then fill it. this way you wont have uneven icing poking through the edges when you place the top half of the cake back on.

here are some how-to’s

Just use nutella - works fantastically well especially as icing on cupcakes :)
