Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is a technique that exploits the spin of certain nuclei to obtain a tell-tale signatures of the molecules. This technique finds immense use in diagnostic imaging of human tissue. We will explore the origins of the NMR effect. In addition to its medical uses, we will also address other novel and esoteric applications, such as quantum computing, low-field NMR, explosives detection, polymer and foodstuff characterization, single-cell and nanoparticle MRI.

Quantum Computing ... yep ... I have been looking at this with a friend of mine. We like to look into cutting edge technology. We were trying to get our heads around the quasi states of the binary quanta.
We read that the binary digit in normal computing only has two states 0 and 1, and that the quasi states allow the binary digit to assume many states. Together we worked out that this must mean ...
0 normal
0/0 quasi
0/1 quasi
1/0 quasi
1/1 quasi
1 normal
We learned afterwards that this is only an over simplified view where the qubits are described as a wave function, where there are 2^3 (8) complex numbers for an equivalent of a 3 bit register!
Iconoclast.... unfortunately ..such labs require bllions of Rs ...for set up ..and instruments.....i dont think there is anyone here....only few countries like US..JAPAN ..or UK etc have such labs....PINES LABS at Berkeley is a key lab on that....also QUBIT @OXFORD is well known for it....Zobia....actually it was past event...:)Psyah..wow..sir..which field you originally belong..plz..tell me....????Pinks...yes..it was very interesting...:)
Dr Kamran Mujahid..who presided this event ..is now under inquiry ..alongwith 10 other Professors of Punjab University....for speaking against Emergency....in boeard meeting...
what a great country we have....he is a dean..of science and Physics scientist...
this is a great thing, if in physics dr. kamran mujahid will excel and pioneer the field or a product line and utility. thanks for sharing, divine light.
Dr Mujahid,Kamran..was the Chairmain..the Physics Department,Punjab University,Lahore..also the Dean of Sciences…till June 2007…presently teaching M Phil…and MSc
A FIR has been written against him and other 10 professors ..in teh Muslim Town Police Station..for indulging in politics and creating law and order disturbance… out of 11…5 are PhDs…
nowadays we are living in some sort of Concentration Camp of Nazis era…lawyers ..judges..human rights activists…journalists..channels..professors ..all are lving in a black state..rule…the Dictator..has gone mad..in greed of power…
here are the popular publicatons and status of this great and brave man…a doctrate from Edinburg University,Scotland…

my reply might be stupid, but i still wana take the chance
cant we have the possibilites of mirror image in the quasi states you mentioned?(vertical movement)
