Why do they call zoo a ‘ChiRRya Ghar’ in Pakistan when the place has every animal/bird except the chirrya.

There is actually a long history behind it...
there was a guy by the name of Haji Bhutta a longtime back (before Mughals ruled the subcontinent) who used to collect chirya's as a hobby... his collection grew and became very famous and people from all over used to come and see his collection.... his house was known as "Chirya Ghar"....
one day Bhutta noticed that someone left his dog while visiting him, he took care of the dog but for many days no one claimed him... so he decided to keep the dog and dog became part of his animal collection... as more and more people came and visited him more and more pets were left behind and instead of starting a lost and found he started to use these animals in his exhibit.... although he added many animals to his collection but his house was always known as "Chriya Ghar"...
after his tragic death caused by an elephant who he adored (elephant sat on him), a local thug took over his house and imposed a fee for visiting the "Chirya Ghar" .... and as he saw his biz grow he added even more animals but for marketing purposes he kept the name as "Chirya Ghar" .... he tried to change the name few times like "Janwar Mahal" ... "Dangar Numaish", “Dangar Shangar” etc.. but that caused his biz to suffer.. so he reverted to the original name... that caught on and there were Chirya Ghar all over the place...
P.S. This pure fiction and any remote resemblance to truth is purely coincidental....
Too bad the thug never thought up the perfect name.. ChaChoo Ghar :-)
