Khumar , a crack is even worse then a chipp , I think … coz if even a tiny bit of glass or china or what ever material it is , gets in your drink , it can be dangerous …
My mom always used to throw away the glasses /cups /plates that had a long crack in it …
I don’t know if it’s true or not or just a myth. Elders say not to keep chipped bartan in house. they say broken or chipped bartan eliminates the coming of a bad event “bala tali”. so it’s better to throw them away.
