chinese remedy for under-eye dark circles

well i just randomly landed on this recipe and it sounded very interesting. i also went ahead and bought the ingredients, too bad i ended up buying the improper things … but i strongly feel its going to help …it’s a 30 days course ..

what you need is:

dang gui (angelica root)
zhen zu mu (pearl powder)
vitamin e tablets or oil
extra virgin olive oil

what to do:

mix a tsp of pearl powder with a tsp of angelica root and vitamin E oil to form a nice, not too runny consistency, and apply it on your under eyes. let stay for 15 minutes and then remove with a face cloth with extra virgin olive oil on it.
you can also use vitamin E tablets … and then use a gram of the first 2 ingredients and crush 2-3 tablets in it and mix it with extra virgin olive oil.

what i did wrong was that i bought pearl powder NOT in powder form … and the angelica root in its solid form … and these are really hard to crush since they are really really hard … pearl is stone like … so yea …

dang gui is an ingredient good for kidneys, and under-eye shadows are often associated with kidney problems … and pearl powder is a famous ingredient found in super expensive beauty creams … vitamin e everybody knows is just a genius natural ingredient.

so what you need to do … is buy pearl POWDER, and angelica root in a form of thin slices. looks like chips … both can be bought from a chinese pharmacy. these can also be ordered online.

Re: chinese remedy for under-eye dark circles

A friend of mine once got me two plastic tubes (like lipstick) of this stuff that she told me to apply to my face and to any blemishes that I might get. She could not explain to me what it was exactly but said it contained "pearl".

Sounds like it may have been something similar to what you are describing.....

Re: chinese remedy for under-eye dark circles

it is possible ... did those help you?

Re: chinese remedy for under-eye dark circles

actually yes....they did.
I must have a tube of it left over cuz you only need to use this stuff sparingly.
But I was not told to wash/wipe it off. I was told to leave it on while I slept and wash it off with a regular face wash in the morning.
