There’s a chinese resteraunt nearby where I work where I’ll pick up some food from if I’m on the run. I’ve been going there for like 3 years or so now. Today I noticed the girl who’s usually behind the counter is pregnant.
PREGNANT
Time passes so fast. But she was working hard - concentrating on taking her orders, getting the food done fast enough. Always ready with a smile.
I know its a side point, and I can’t describe it in words, but just watching these chinese people run their resteraunt - it really inspires you.
If I was pregnant, I’d probably be bitchin’ my husband out and watching Everybody Loves Raymond reruns at home.

i don't think its right to label any race..as oh..they're the hardworking ones..and they're the lazy ones..get off of that girl.. i've met lazy chinese people too..whatever..bad or good stereotypes..its all the same in the end...or do i come off too preachy..thats just my opinion.
Depends on what "kind" of Chinese you have seen... probably poor ones or coming from a poorer background, they definitely try to work harder, just like others.
Chinese deliver babies while working!!!! now thats productivity.
I could see the woman turning while working and saying to her husband 9 months ago, "heyya wha(what) wa(was) that?"
The husband replies "Hya justa (just) makea (make) love to you hyaa"
Ofcourse all this in a split second while they are working grill and phone.
