Chinese Magazine: Pakistan - A Tourism Place

Damn, the article didn’t mention name of the Magazine. I searched for it but couldn’t find it.

Pakistan can be a Famous Tourist Destination: Magazine

BEIJING, Dec 22: Pakistan is a beautiful land blessed with tourism attractions and cultural diversity, totally contrary to the image of the country portrayed in some parts of the world, said Zhu Dazhi, editor of a leading Chinese magazine.

Zhu, who visited Pakistan last week along with three other members of a media delegation said Pakistan had rich potential to become the world famous tourists’ destination.

In an interview with the APP on his return, he said that they had decided to bring out a special edition of the magazine (China City Tourism) March next to sight some wonderful and rare tourism resorts in Pakistan.

He said they were highly impressed to witness the country’s tourism sites in Peshawar, Lahore and Karachi. “We only regret that we were not able to experience the two areas, Hunza and Thar Desert due to short of time,” Zhu said and added: **“We would be definitely coming back to this beautiful country next year. The sites we witnessed were amazing and our cameraman and photographer Lei Falin captured many scenes on wide variety of cultural diversity which Pakistan has in its folds.” **

Wang Shujin, another member made the impressions and recordings on the human angle aspect that originated from the area and termed the experience an enriching one.

SHujin noted that **Pakistan Embassy in Beijing in collaboration with the local media organizations had worked out a plan to introduce Pakistan as a favourite tourist destination for tourism.

The Chinese government had already included Pakistan in the official list of favourite countries for visiting as tourists. ** :biggthumb:

The plan would help motivate the Chinese people through media campaign to visit Pakistan.

According to the Embassy sources, some local media organizations including the China City Tourism had shown keen interest to project Pakistan as an attractive place for tourism and hoped that the embassy would receive maximum support from the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation and other relevant departments to make the campaign a success.

**The magazine would be publishing a full-fledged special supplement on Pakistan in March next year in the Chinese language. The magazine would also publish special broacher for its nation-wide distribution. It would help encourage tourism and strengthen people-to-people contacts. ** :k:

The administration of the magazine would also contact the local travelling agencies persuading them to establish business linkages in Pakistan. Separate pictorial booklets would be published to highlight the country’s historical cultural spots.

Another local popular monthly **Civilization would publish a special supplement to project Pakistan as a popular tourism destination.

It had also been decided that the PTDC and Xinjiang Tourism Corporation would update their publicity material on Silk Road and new publications would be printed for free distribution in their respective countries.**

i.e. 1000 posts/month, 33 posts approx./ day.
No my boy I am PiTying him… the man does not have a life outside these forums.

Alhumduililah :~) Finally

Some 1 - Dude - We do pay Pt to come here. But how come uninvited guests like you are here?

If you fail to see the subject in a thread dont bother to reply.

PT brother - good posts thanks for sharing.

Pakistan Zindabad

Its very nice to see someone appreciates Pakistan like i do, but frankly, who is this Mr. Zhu to judge. I can very well create a magazine and call afghanistan a great tourism place. Its sad to see Dawn, a leading pakistani newsgroup consider this "newsworthy"

Some1, what he does is nothing for you to worry about. Hes a great member of gupshup, and contributes to the community. His presence is appreciated. Please, enjoy yourself here. If that means 1 post perday, or 100posts per day.

Hardly. Most of his posts are empty nothings or articles/news copy-pasted from the net without regard to their relevance for discussion as long as it has a word "Pakistan" in it. To be fair to him, anyone who puts in more than 30 posts every day cannot be expected to be logical.

P.S: I know I am not the most politically correct guppie around here but I like to call a spade a spade.

Some1 says:

I do have a life. Better than you Jackass!

Nia & hskhan: Welcome!

guys take it easy. Some1, it would be great if you add your contributions as a valuable member on this site. I am not sure, if hate mongering will get you far, which seems to be your prime motive. Shape up, you are running out of chances.

Thanks outlaw!

PT is more than welcome here, unlike your unwanted utterances. Why does positive thing about Pakistan bother you so much? Can't wait till we have some major progress, will that kill you? Looks like it.

Too bad this isn't real life or else we'd all be walking away from you right now.

Oh well....

Someone who claims someone else (who he/she doesnt knows anything about) wastes too much time is not logical. I guess you aint logical then ;)

Thats cool of the Chinese.

PT has no friends, his only mate is the gupshup forum. :(
