Chinese Food

Re: Chinese Food

Chinese food is fine. I try to stick to halal chinese places, cz regular chinese joints are obsessed with putting pork in everything. And they don't even tell you, cz they think they are giving you a value-add.

Thai food is glorious to look at, with all the colorful veggies. And if they can make it "hot" for me, its even better.

The only food I just can't develop any taste for is Vietnamese food. I never enjoyed it. Which is a shame really, cz there are tonnes of Vietnamese outlets around here.

By the way, Chinese food is not that cheap (<$2). Even the fast food kinda variety is about 4-5 bucks.

Chinese in Pakistan really rocks! I really miss Hsin Kuang and Dynasty in Lahore or Suzie Wong in Karachi. The Chinese over here is Americanized a bit. The absolutely authentic Chinese food (I ate in Hong Kong) was totally unpalatable for me.

Re: Chinese Food

chinese food isnt too costly.. out here u can get a buffet lunch for $6 and that includes a gazillion items.. yummmm..

Re: Chinese Food

that’s very true Faisal bhai! I hope they don’t put pork in my kung pao shrimp :bummer: I know they do put them in the egg rolls and the hot n’ sour soup!
