Chinese commander visits Air Headquarters

ISLAMABAD: Commander PLA (Air Force) General Xu Qiliang, along with a nine-member Chinese delegation, visited the Air Headquarters here on Saturday, said a press release.

On his arrival at the Air Headquarters, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman received the distinguished guest.

A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Air Force presented him a guard of honour. After inspecting the guard of honour, he was introduced to principal staff officers of the PAF.

The distinguished guest also paid homage to martyrs of the PAF by laying wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument at the Air Headquarters.

Later, General Xu Qiliang and Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman discussed matters of professional interest.

They also discussed measures to strengthen friendly relations between air forces of the two countries.
