Re: Chinese Beef Chili

oh I was googling a recipe for beef chillies or sth like that a few days ago,the one we get in Pakistani Chinese restaurants...it used to be so good...
I could use a tried and tested recipe too...:)

Here you go! Lemme know how it turned out if you tried! :D I have not yet as Pakis are kinda racist towards beef! And dun know why though but this has always kept me away from trying her beef recipes and she has a lot of them!

Anyways.. 1/2 Kf boneless beef (she wrote bareek katey hoye parchey dun know what are parchey? :S )

3tsp corn starch

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ajino moto

6tbsp soy sauce

2big green bell peppers

1big red bell pepper

2tbsp vinegar
half cup oil

4big green chilies

4 green onions

2cloves garlic and two slices of ginger thinly sliced

recipe: Mix vinegar, 3tbsp soy sauce and corn starch in a bowl. Add beef to it.

Cut capsicums, red bell pepper and onions (lambai mai)

Heat some oil, add ginger, garlic, onion and bell peppers, fry on high heat for few mins.. sprinkle some salt and take them out from the wok.

Now add the remaining oil in the hot on HIGH heet, add beef.. saute on HIGH heet.. fry it until golden then add 3tbsp soy sauce, salt ajinomoto, and fried veggies cook for 2-3mins and voila you're done! and now I want some! :D

Re: Chinese Beef Chili

What can you substitute the MSG (ajinomoto) for?

Re: Chinese Beef Chili

^Just skip it....but you can probably substitute it for white pepper.
