China

I have a few questions i hope someone can answer. What are China’s postgraduate studies like in terms of international recognition and academic standard? Are they reputable institutions? is it worth going there for a year? if so which particular institution are the best to go for and why?

any info would be appreciated.

Merci.

Re: China

Some British universities have opened campuses in China, nottingham and warrick are two. It may be easier to apply to them and work out how it would work if you were studying from China? I think the lectures therein are in English, so that would make it a hell ova lot easier.

Tell me how it goes, I wanna be in China/Brazil soon enough :)

Re: China

some of the chinese colleges are really good, and also very hard to go into.most polulars for exp---tsinghua university[www.tsinghua.edu.cn]、beijing university[www.pku.edu.cn] and many other great colleges.but they are very very hard to go into.too many students wanna go into.

Re: China

Tsinghua University :k: :k: - collaborated on a research project for the NSF with a few professors and students from there - was highly impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. You might also want to look into the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences which is well regarded internationally for their research facilities.

Dunno if you’re interested in Hong Kong, but HKUST (HK Univ. of Science & Tech) is one of the premier learning institutions in the world.
