I see a lot of news about China giving military aid to Pakistan, but I don’t really see news that China invest in Pakistan or give Pakistan economic aid. I think China, Pakistan and India are all poor countries. The last thing I want to see is these countries go into war.
I wonder is there any economic cooporations between China and Pakistan?

well China has economic ties with Pakistan, and investing in mega projects like Gawadar deep sea port, Chasma nuclear power plant etc. also in shape of re building the korakaram highway

Pakistan, China close to free trade pact
BEIJING, Nov 13: China and Pakistan have all but wrapped up a free trade agreement ahead of a state visit to Islamabad later this month by President Hu Jintao, the official Xinhua news agency reported on Monday. Xinhua quoted sources with China’s Ministry of Commerce assaying negotiators cleared the last hurdle during a fifth round of talks in Beijing. The talks began after a visit to Pakistan in April 2005 by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.—Reuters
