China has run Tibet with an iron fist since People’s Liberation Army troops occupied it in 1950, and has vowed to promote economic prosperity.
US attacks Iraq and gives a reason that it wants to free the people of Iraq from the misery they are in. Why does it not even voice concern, forget a war, over what is happening in Tibet? Is it because there is no oil in Tibet or is it that China would say - “Screw you”.
I think this is one of the many reasons why world opinion of US is not as great as it could be. There are too many double standards in the US foreign policy.
