The discussion was that Pakistan's neighbours have accused Pakistan of sheltering terrorists in its terrirtory. After the usaual suspects India and Afghanistan, now Iran has joined the bandwagon. So in this region who is the worst neighbour .... you decide for yourself :D

No the discussion was about india being the worst neighbor. And this is just one example why. Ever since it has started its proxy war against Pakistan by actively exporting terrorism via Afghanistan, neighbors are in deep deep trouble.

Terrorism export via Afghanistan to Balochistan and FATA and smuggling trained terrorists from there to not only everywhere in Pakistan but also in the neighboring countries to destroy relationships between peaceful neighbors.

Even Nepal is complaining and asking india to stop exporting terrorism via its territory to China (with the aim to destroy relationship between Nepal and China).

This story of routing terror through Afghanistan .... forget India even mulsim neighbouring countries are not buying it now....... time to wake up to the reality and act against the terror infrastructure within Pakistan !!!!!!

That is for Iran to worry about !!! As far as i am concerned, like Iran i have concern about the terrror infrastructure within Pakistan. That needs to be dismanteled.

So you are not worried that the real culprits may get away with that?

As far as Iran is concerned, it seems more like a knee jerk reaction.

Anyone with the smallest of brains would know that at this critical stage when we are sending thousands of our soldiers to fight foreign backed TTP and BLA terrorists, and our country is the real victim of terrorism, it would be the most stupid thing to do to send any terrorist to strike in a country with whom we have friendly relations. What has Pakistan to gain from that? NOTHING, absolutely nothing!

Only enemies of Pakistan would benefit from that. Hopefully Iranians will become less emotional and more logical. If they have any evidence, they are welcome to share with us and Pakistan should fully cooperate with Iranians.

These terror groups have been nurtured by Paksitani establishment earlier ..... now the establishment did a u-turn after 9/11 ... but these elements did not. For them is was more about ideologue then anything else. Hope you are not saying that Paksiatn helped Taliban because it belived in their ideologue .... that Pakistan supporters also wanted their womenfolk in "shuttle cock" burqa and wanted girl schools to be closed. Pakistan's support was more for geo-political / miliary reasons. Now these same groups have come home to roost. Apart from Taliban you are forgetting Lashkar e jhangvi, Jaish e Mohamad, Harkatal ul Mujahedin .......

^^ Every country in this world follows its strategic interests. Even if that means creating very very odd alliances.

For example, right now india is funding/arming TTP in Pakistan, even though there might not be even smallest of overlap between their ideologies. TTP is pursuing this alliance because they want money and power they have a common enemy hence a common strategic interest.

USA financed/armed/trained these very Talibans they are fighting against now because at that time it was a strategic necessity. And even today if they are sure that by making peace with Taliban will lead them to their strategic goals, they will not waste one day.

Pakistan is no different.

usa trained the talibans along with the isi and used them at free will in kashmir.. until 9/11... when they finally bit their own masters... live with it..

Pakistan is using its own citizens as fodder. That is the difference. It is making a mistake by training it own countrymen into believing in an ideology that says it is above the nation of Pakistan. No country in its right mind educates large numbers of its own citizens into believing that there is something bigger than the nation to fight for.

they would certainly use them.. .but usa is elsewhere.. actually if u see whoever usa supported at some point is in trouble... it supported iraq during iran-iraq war, it supported afghanistan during afghan-soviet war and it supported pakistan during most of the india-pakistan wars.. i really hope india doesnt blidnly follow usa.. cos india might be next in line... russia is the best..

That is the difference ... you cannot say that .... India does not train any hindu jehadis .... like ISI does. Even you friends are pointing fingers at ISI for the mess in Afghanistan and also Iran. The link up between the jehadis trained by Pakistan and who have truned against Pakistan has been brought up time and again. Time to look at taking action against these elements ..... just for the sake of Pakistan itself forget about the region for the time being.

india (government) doesnt train hindutva radicals.... but some other political organizations do provide support.. and their political mileage is waning as u could naturally see from the election results..

RAW used tamilnadu to train tamil nationalists in the 80s, and in turn India got stung pretty badly. That was a good lesson on not feeding bull**** to your own countrymen. RAW may be training militants in Afganistan but i don't think it is foolish enough to feed the hindutva cancer in India among its own citizens.

And none of these hindutvadis put religion above the country. They are wannabe political parties and will be digging their own graves if they do that.

I think many people from Pakistan are unable to see the difference between ethnicity and religion*s* in India probably because multi-religious thinking is not in their mindset. For example the LTTE is / was not any one religion dominated, in fact it made little reference. There were Hindus, Christians, Muslims and atheists. The uniting feature was being Tamilian, in Sri Lanka who believed that the Singelese authorities were mistreating them. That was closer to the Bengalis in East Pakistan situation (where ethnicity was the issue and not religion)

Posting this from a fellow Pakistani in Pakistan Affairs section … in Waziristan thread … read it and find the answer as to why … people in Pakistan are saying that it is the government which is doing for money … or is this another RAW agent

I dont know, I wasnt mature enough then but I remember in 2001-2002 PTV use to AIR programs and they were promoting the idea of supporting America on this war. Every guest used to “ohhhh Musharaf has taken a very good decision and bla bla” I didnt support the idea. We created taliban, we helped them establish a govt in Afghanistan. We created mujahideen, we made organisation to support them in Kashmir. We helped recruit many going into kashmir. I remember one of my school fellow went and got martyred in kashmir 1998. We raised funds at musjids… we did everything to support all these people. Least we could do is defend them. Defend our own people.

BUT unfortunately our leaders chose the way of beghairty as they had no balls and no one stood up to at least condemn the height of stupidity until the Lal Masjid incident. When govt become enemy puppets then ppl assume the role of sons of the nation. Look at Iraq, they are civilians fighting against Americans and doing what ever they can but they call them al-qaida and what not The reason for all this mess is that there is a sense in the people that our govt has become allies with the enimies for money or what ever and hence you see the results like attacks on FIA, Police and GHQ.
