China Invites Pakistan to Set up Industries in Kashghar
KARACHI, April 5 Asia Pulse - Vice Commissioner of Kashgar Prefecture Administration, Xinjiang, China Chen Ji has invited businessmen from Karachi to set up industries in Kashgar on zero per cent duty.
Chen Ji, the leader of an eight-member trade delegation made this offer at a meeting with the office bearers of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on March 30.
He said that Pakistani industrialists could send their products to South China, North China, South Asia and Central Asia through Kashgar without any duty.
He also invited the KCCI in ‘Kashgar Trade Fair’ being held from May 10 to 12, 2005 at Kashgar New Yield Fast (NYF) International Exhibition Centre.
“The fair will showcase electrical appliances, office equipment, electrical, agricultural, and engineering machinery, chemicals, textile and clothing, handicrafts, toys, food materials and building materials,” the leader of delegation said.
