That is correct. The only major objective that seems to be driving China’s economic prosperity is that of achieving economic prosperity for its people. It is perfectly capable of encircling and squeezing India and the military might of the latter is no match to that of China. Yet it has avoided unnecessary confrontation and trade between the two rivals is burgeoning.
