China bans fasting in Ramzan

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

Can u explain ur mentioning of France and Germany in regard to Ramzan ??

BTW for those who missed ..... Germany's lawmaker are preparing a law that allows circumcision on religious grounds (male only that is) .... that said there is still the Niqaab-Ban if u want to become "sarkari mulazim" ..... this has been contested and the case is with the supreme court ..... so still some way to go before equal treatment of all

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

Fasting is like being on a diet so are the gog magogs going to ban the diets too?

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

would be interessting to know whether the chinese also push this for the Tibetian Buddhists too or is it limited to Party Cadre and Students in Hinjiang ????

The Buddhist call it "Khao Pansa" afaik

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

I didn't. I responded to your comment regarding state interfering in the personal lives of people. Something the French and Germans have in common with the Chinese. I thought it was pretty simple considering I quoted your exact one line.

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

When Pakistani police can beat up two guys of eating during fasting hours, then why there's so much fuss against china who are forcing people not to fast. Both are extremists.

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

If this is true then it is deplorable but not so surprising coming from China. Religious minorities should be protected

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

Two wrongs don't make a right. That fact that you make such a retarded statement is worrying.

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

So...China did not ban fasting, eh? Thought so.

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

Damn those barbaric Chinese! How dare they restrict anyones freedom of religion  !

If only the Chinese were as civilized as the PakistanIs. We may prevent people using Muslim names, calling their place of worship a Mosque, preventing them from going to haj, using the azan, propagating in any way their religion, and wiping the kalama from their graves and “place of worship,” but we would never stoop so low as to forcing people to have to EAT! God forbid anyone should NOT eat n Pakistan! :hypo:

LOL… Pakistan Zindabad! Down with the evil Chinese! :jhanda:

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

LOL... Except in the case of Pakistan? Where interference is perfectly fine, but the Europeans better not do it! The irony doesn't get to you does it?

Oh by the way, two wrongs don't make a right. At least when the two wrongs are made in Pakistan it doesn't make a right. Except of course if the two wrongs are committed in Europe, in which case one wrong is enough to cover up Pakistan's many wrongs.

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

:D

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

By all means Med prove it.

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

Good, so since Pakistan has a problem with a particular group, let the whole world ban on ALL Islamic activities, that group will be happy because they have problems in Pakistan. :jhanda:

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

Land of the Free! :whistling:

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

Nah, I just wish Pakistanis who are so offended by this, but seem to have no problem with equally absurd levels of discrimination in Pak (actually even more absurd in Paks case) reflect on their own stupidity and hypocrisy.

How about not restricting ANYONES religious freedom. Before you start getting all righteous over the treatment of minorities in China, try taking a gander at yourselves.

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

I already do :chai:

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

U sure about that ???

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

Like what you see?

Re: China bans fasting in Ramzan

That's what seems like as I see 'some' responses.

Blasphemy law to be one.
