ISLAMABAD, Dec 1 (APP): China has assured full moral, financial and material support to Pakistan in the wake of situation arose after terrorist attacks in Mumbai (India). China in a message to Pakistan’s top slot said that the country would assist Pakistan in any situation to overcome the problems and challenges being faced by it.
The Chinese leadership is in constant contact with Pakistan to know the nature of assistance the latter requires and ensure its immediate availability.
However, according to officials sources, Pakistan is self-sufficient in defence and it is impossible for any state of the world to harm the country.
They said Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force are well equipped to protect the homeland.
The phrasing was
important as it did not state full support for the unity and
integrity of the nation as Pakistan wanted.
This time also they have said they will provide moral, material and financial support … have they put the phrase " full support for unity and integrity of the nation" … i dont see it in the report … you better check with the Chinese.

No heartburn .... and why do you say derail the topic ... we are talking about the Chinese support to Pakistan .... so once gain have they said " full support for unity and integrity of the nation" ... you can simply say no they have not and i will forget it .....
Perhaps you need it told in simpler terms: Russia was supporting India, but could not do so openly. US initially started supporting Pakistan, China too kept supporting Pakistan, but it could not be seen outright defeating India via Pakistan. That's the world politics.
China did what it could as an ally at the time, under the circumstances. Russia did what it could (Veto power in UN) to help India.
Why does it bother India that Pakistan and China support each other? Everytime Pakistan and China is mentioned Indians take it upon themselves to dissect everything. Inferiority complex? Or just an old habit? (No answer required, just think about it :D)

So what support will China give ?????? if in a fight they wont come to "protect" pakistan what is the point of thier support. At least the US sent its seventh fleet to Bay of Bengal ..... but by the time they reached it was too late ....
As far Russian support for India in UN ... they were a great help .... Indian's needed time and they bought them time with little help from ZA Bhuttoo.

In 1971 war, Pakistan was showered with USA's blessing and aid, same as India is being blessed right now.. actually iam quiet happy with USA siding India, as it is evident from USA's record that friends of India only get the MUMBAI kind episodes and followed by economical turndown...

I guess it was mid 2007 when some analyst on bbc was saying that if the buying power of developing nation ( emerging economies) keep increasing at the same pace, there will be shortage of almost everything as the population of these nations is far more than of developed nation...
Now, USA and other western countries have started their game, the economic growth in Pakistan was vanished with the appearnce of so-called taliban, and same is being done with india, the series of blasts and now this Mumbai episode...
America is their with all its sympathy with India, whereas, the capital is on its way out of India,
