American badminton racket is broken ( Pakistan have denied them any new rackets) and they think it is not use to have shuttle when you don't have racket, that is why they retiring it, they however vow to keep the tennis racket and that is why they tennis ball is not retiring anytime soon...
and Chinese have recently bought a 1000 rackets from Sialkot (Pakistan) the Chinese Shuttle program would commence as soon as these rackets will be shipped to China
