children............

I have twin girls aged 12 and I had countless trips to the doctor trying to get pregnant with them.
I have Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome and it makes it very difficult to get pregnant. People keep asking me why I dont have any more kids and that I should have a boy.
We’ve had endless financial problems and I cant imagine how we would make do if we had another child. I know that the child that comes brings their kismat/rozi with them but you cant take that literally.
This is why I dont think its a good idea to go to the doctor to get advice on trying for another baby. I have left it to Allah as I am not on the pill, but people think I’m preventing pregnancy on purpose. If its to be it will be. I refuse to seek advice from the doc. What with our finances we’re struggling as it is. There are other reasons as well which I won’t go into.
Please tell me if I am wrong? From a religious point of view. Thanks.

Re: children............

No. You're fine. Other ppl telling u to have more kids or accuse you of doing it on purpose should go to hell. Figureatively of course.

Re: children…

Sahaba’s R.A were using birth control methods in the time of Holy Prophet:saw2:. Although you are not but even if you do there is nothing wrong with it.

Re: children…

WHAT :o. I never heard there were any methods back then.

Re: children............

During the time of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the most commonly practiced method of birth control was 'azl or the withdrawal method. According to the ulama (scholars), withdrawal is permissible but generally thought to be makruh (reprehensible), since it deprives the woman of her right to be able to have sexual satisfaction and to bear children if she so desires, so therefore the conclusion reached by most scholars is that withdrawal should not be practiced unless the woman agrees to it.

Re: children............

Allah knows best Tabussum. I am sure you have gone through enough trying to not just have the babies but also to raise them. This "boy" issue is so weird that I can never understand why other people are so interested and enthusiastic about anyone else having a boy. Goodness gracious, not only is it barbaric but also not in one's hand. Just ignore such people. Allah knows your niyah.
