You don’t ***have ***to do anything. It’s up to each parent and family to decide when, if ever, is the right time according to their needs, values, budget etc.

The child can’t go alone and get a cell phone and service now, can they? It has to be bought and paid for the parent. and if the parent doesn’t want to, what can the child do lol.

Sometimes due to circumstances like muzna and you pointed out we have to. That’s why I had gotten my first phone too at the age of 19.
