Salaam all!
According to ahadith after bearing all the pain during childbirth, all the sins of the mother are being washed away, so if she starts praying (ofcourse after haidh) and she never misses any salaah after it, will she be questioned for her missed salaats before childbirth in the akhirah?
Is there any need for her to pray qaza umri of the salahs before childbirth?

really? that must be the week hadith
so if she dies during the process, would she go straight to paradise?

Ummm.. check with the scholars because I have come to known that all such ahadeeth according to which doing some kind of work makes one's sins washed away refer to gunaah-e-sagheera... and leaving prayer does not come under gunaah-e-sagheera....
One confirm case, however, when the only time one's ALL sins are washed away is when a non-believer reverts to Islam
