It was so kids can grow up in village atmosphere which was, even in those days, considered a healthier atmosphere.

Kids were going to another woman, not a man for feeding. Where this “jungjoo” thing came from? :smack:

Even in pre-partition time, maybe in 19th century, in Lucknow and Delhi, people use to send their kids to Tawaa’ef (to brothals) so they can learn manners.
